Dean Linke, Sports Broadcaster
About Me
Meticulous preparation. Dedication. Professionalism.
Those four words might best describe my approach to each and every game I broadcast.
I dedicate an unlimited amount of time to every broadcast I do. I get to know each and every program, each and every coach, and, even, each and every player before every broadcast I do. The same goes for each and every press officer. My approach has never wavered since my first broadcast in 1996.
My broadcast highlights include calling men’s and women’s basketball for the Big Ten Network, serving as the play-by-play voice of the Fox Soccer-NSCAA College Game of the Week for the past seven years as well as BTN Soccer, calling US National Soccer Team games, the ACC Lacrosse, Rowing, Golf, Cross Country, and Swimming championships and so much more.
In addition, I am an accomplished writer, with the spur-of-the-moment ability to write teases, stories and full-length features. I am also an accomplished public speaker, capable of emceeing and keeping the attention of any audience. Further, I have tremendous success serving in the capacity of community relations. And, finally, I have learned how to successfully bridge my love of broadcasting to raising money by way of sponsorship sales and corporate partnerships which I have brokered on numerous occasions.
I bring a seasoned professionalism and a great rapport with each and every producer/director I work with as well as each and every broadcast partner. I also intricately understand the nuances of both men's and women's sports, as I have been broadcasting both since 1996.
Broadcasting is my passion. Sales is my gift.
Most importantly, I put in the work for EVERY game.
I can call any sport, anywhere, anytime.
